Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Higher ST3-5/ST6+) in Multivisceral Transplant (Gastroenterology with sub-specialty experience in complex Nutrition and Intestinal Transplantation) at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
There are two posts available, one to start as soon as possible until 01 September 2024 and the other from 04 September 2023 until 01 September 2024.
The successful candidate will provide quality care for patients with intestinal failure, complex surgical and vascular problems and who are undergoing intestinal and multivisceral transplantation. The postholder will be supported by a team of Gastroenterologists, Transplant and Intestinal Failure Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, Co-ordinators, a Psychologist and associated Junior Doctors. There will be opportunities to gain experience in other areas of Transplantation or Gastroenterology, as well as research opportunities.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of commencement is required.
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
