Senior Staff Specialist, Staff Specialist or Senior Medical Officer (Gastroenterology) – Cairns 

Remuneration value up to $451 777 p.a. (L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $413 379 p.a. (L18 – L24) or Remuneration value up to $294 393 (L13), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements. 

Duties/Abilities

An opportunity exits to join a dynamic team of general physicians providing an effective, efficient, and equitable specialist general medical service for Cairns and Hinterland Hospital Health Service. The role will assist the Clinical Director of the Medical Assessment Unit & General Medicine at Cairns Hospital. There are opportunities to further develop telehealth, obstetric medicine and perioperative medicine services. Candidates who are due to complete fellowship at the end of the 2022 training year are encouraged to apply.
