General Practitioner

If you have a special interest area which you want to develop then we could be the practice for you, or are you newly qualified and looking for a Practice to mentor your development as you gain confidence as a GP.

We are ideally looking for a 5-session list holding GP but would consider 4 sessions for the right candidate.

We would happily consider hours to fit in with school times or other commitments you may have as we are actively supportive of a good work life balance.

We have already implemented an appointment system which includes clinical assessment to help prioritise need so our GPs have a mix of urgent appointment sessions as Duty Lead or Duty Support, prioritised appointments and routine or follow up appointment sessions.

We also have a diverse cohort of patients, so your work is varied.

We have a number of ways to help alleviate the pressures of the clinical administration workload and we also enable GPs to help design their own appointment structure.

General Practice is a challenging field to work in but at Cricketfield Surgery we have a fantastic team that works well together, collaborates to solve problems and is incredibly supportive.
