SCHHS is a multi-campus health service and employees may be required to work across various locations as required. Services are delivered from facilities based at Birtinya, Nambour, Gympie, Caloundra, Maleny and community locations across the Sunshine Coast.

You will work with dynamic senior medical staff and their teams across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service to deliver services that are of the highest standard, in an efficient and effective manner.

You will work in General Medicine and other subspecialty areas, providing inpatient and outpatient care. We anticipate that you will build on this experience and maximise on your own professional development, as well as assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and medical students. There is a rich teaching culture across the health service, with many opportunities for training around the hospital. In addition to this, we have a dedicated Physician Training programme that prepares our registrars for their Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) examinations.
