We are looking for a general radiologist with specialist interest in abdominal / gynaecological imaging with or without non vascular intervention to join our regional service.
Swansea Bay University Health Board provides many tertiary referral services. The radiologist will join a team of 3 substantive consultant gynaecological radiologists.
We have 28 Consultant Radiologists delivering excellent radiology services over a range of specialities.
Main duties of the job
Swansea Bay University Health Board includes the busy tertiary referral centre of Morriston Hospital, the less acute, cancer orientated Singleton Hospital by the beach, and the smaller Neath Port Talbot Hospital. If you have an interest in education, many of our radiologists deliver sessions of dedicated teaching at the National Imaging Academy for Wales which is 40 minutes away along the M4. We also regularly teach medical students from Swansea University.
The Department offers many varied opportunities to capture all career aspirations within Radiology. Research and Development and teaching are fundamental to the service as a result of close working links with Swansea University Medical School, currently ranked 4th in the UK.
