In the unlikely even that this post is not continued the candidate will rotate within the Trust as this is a permanent post. This post is flexible and will support the CESR route upon agreement with local AMD.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work closely as a key member of the programme team, bringing a hands-on and practical approach and helping to define, lead and drive change. The role represents a unique opportunity to help shape and deliver an ambitious and radical programme of change, co-produced with colleagues from across the health and care landscape and with service users - for the benefit of our local populations.
The doctor will play a major role in working with different professionals and managers in delivering a high-quality service for adults with mental health difficulties within an exciting and newly formed 'Mental Health and Wellbeing' Team. They will be part one of the biggest transformations within UK mental health services. The consultant will play a lead role in Waltham Forest in helping the Trust work directly with GPs, peer support workers, primary care networks, the local authority, and UCLP to both maintain high standards of care and develop local services.
