Exciting opportunity-

We are looking for two enthusiastic and self-motivated consultants to join our department on a substantive basis, following the recent retirement of two consultants.

Post 1 will be focussed on obstetric anaesthesia with 2 sessions per week in Delivery Suite and requires someone with advanced training in obstetric anaesthesia

Post 2 is suitable for those with more general interests. We would welcome someone with expertise in areas such as preoperative assessment in this role, with opportunity to take over as lead for the Preoperative Assessment in due course.However, the exact details of the job plan will be tailored to suit each successful candidate's interests and the needs of the Department following the resumption of the elective surgical programme.Both jobs will involve covering general theatre lists and participating in the general on-call rota. All jobs are appointed to the Trust and will involve an element of cross site working and/or collaboration.
