SIVUH Invites applications for the post of Locum Full Time Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist.

This is a Type B Specified Purpose Consultant Contract 2008 x 26 weeks initially.

Specialist Division with The Irish Medical Council in the specialty of Otorhinolaryngology is essential for appointment to the post.

The successful appointee shall perform the duties and responsibilities appropriate to the appointment and will practice as a full-time Consultant Surgeon in Otorhinolaryngology at the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital and Cork University Hospital. The appointee will have a full-time commitment of 37 hours weekly. The commitment is allocated 32 hours per week to South Infirmary-Victoria University Hospital and 5 hours per week to Cork University Hospital. 

The appointment will include clinical teaching, training, research and administrative responsibilities. The Consultant will be expected to provide care in accordance with the tenets of best practice and ethical principles underpinning medicine.
