Salaried GP

Working from a modern purpose-built building in Torquay we look after 8,200 patients. Our patient numbers have been increasing based on an excellent reputation supported by independent surveys and feedback.

Extending our blended system of electronic, telephone triage and face-to-face consultations (which allows us to do some remote working) we are developing a new way of working. Splitting Acute and Long term conditions into distinct areas. working on a rotation basis you will be able to enhance your skills utilising greater patient triage and working in close teams with GPs, ANPs, Physician Associates as well as OT in mental health and Social Prescribers.

We are looking at both continuing to provide excellent service but also enhance our and your work life balance, with a set 17 patient contacts a session with no squeezed in extras. You will be joining an established team of GPs with full nursing and admin support who have consistently achieved excellent QoF results (with minimal exception reporting) as well as DES & LES s; we have also achieved a rating of Good on every element of our CQC inspections.

Additionally, we are a Training Practice and have Registrars and Medical Students. For those new to the area Torquay offers excellent schools, good housing and plenty of amenities and activities from beaches to Dartmoor to keep you entertained.
