Sessional GP opportunities: Full-time / Part-time in Wandsworth, South West London

Wandsworth Medical Centre is a friendly, high achieving, dynamic and innovative GP training practice with 18,500 patients, located in a health centre in the heart of Wandsworth. The practice is expanding and we are looking for enthusiastic and resourceful GPs with strong clinical skills to join our team in 2023. 

Our patient population is mixed and encompasses areas of affluence as well as deprivation. Most of our patients are young commuters, with a comparatively low morbidity.  We provide excellent and innovative access to meet patient need and offer a full complement of services such as Phlebotomy, ECGs, Spirometry, Ultrasound, Counseling, Physiotherapy, Family Planning and Minor Ops clinics.  Clinicians use EMIS Web and Docman workflow management and can work remotely when needed. 

Up-to-date and evidence-based practice is important to us, thus we provide regular informal GP catch-up meeting over lunch meetings for peer support as well as dedicated education and clinical MDT meetings.  In addition, we are an approved undergraduate and postgraduate GP training practice, we teach medical students, PA students, junior doctors and GP registrars. There is a great team spirit between doctors and staff. In addition, we have partnered with 4 other local practices to form a strong and collaborative PCN.
