CONSULTANT IN OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY
Fixed Term appointment for
6 months
We have an exciting opportunity available in one of the UK’s most up and coming and rapidly developing Cities.
Applications are invited for this 10 programmed activities (PA) per week Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist post to support Women’s Health Services across NHS Tayside.
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking team and are keen to recruit a colleague who will work flexibly with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the provision of Women’s Health services in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and Perth Royal Infirmary.
This is a Fixed Term appointment for 6 months. The expectation is that the successful candidate will provide support for general Obstetrics and Gynaecology Services across NHS Tayside. There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to develop a Special Interest that complements the current service, although there is a particular need for an individual to support Urogynaecology Services in Tayside. The successful candidate will be expected to provide out-patient Gynaecology clinics and there will be opportunities to undertake Gynaecology operating lists. There will also be opportunities to support Maternity Services.
The successful candidate will need to provide out of hours cover for emergency Obstetrics Services in NHS Tayside.
Applicants should have full GMC registration and a licence to practice, and be on the specialist register at the time of interview.
