Integra Healthcare Ltd, a rapidly growing multi-specialty practice, part of the most comprehensive private healthcare group in the beautiful British Overseas Territory of the Cayman Islands in the Western Caribbean is seeking an exceptional Consultant Endocrinologist to join our rapidly expanding practice, working hand in hand with our Women’s, Children’s and Primary Care services, as well as our wider group of surgical, diagnostic and allied colleagues.   • 3+ years post-CCT experience (requirement for registration in Cayman Islands)

Ideal Professional Experience & Capability

  • Diabetes (Type 1 & Type 2)
  • Thyroid Disease e.g. hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, benign & cancerous thyroid disease
  • Bone Disorders e.g. osteoporosis
  • Pituitary Disorders, including fertility, menstrual, growth and cortisol-related e.g. Cushing’s Syndrome
  • Hypertension, where it is caused by adrenal hormone imbalance
  • Lipid Disorders or endocrine origin e.g. diabetes or hypothyroidism
  • Metabolic Syndrome
  • Menopause & Later Years Conditions
  • Menstrual Disorders & Irregularities
  • Dysfunctional Ovulation
  • Endocrine Issues during Pregnancy
  • Acne & Skin Disorders
  • Alopecia/ Hair Loss and Hirsutism/ Abnormal Excessive Hair

Paediatric Endocrinology (not essential)

We happen to have the Island’s largest private paediatric practice and although we are absolutely not expecting someone to have strong paediatric experience, if they happened to have some experience in the following from a paediatric perspective then this would be a bonus:

  • Type 1 and type 2 diabetes
  • Growth Disorders
  • Puberty Disorders
  • Obesity and Insulin Resistance
  • Low Bone Mass
  • Thyroid problems

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Location George Town, Grand Cayman
  • Full Time
  • Basic Salary is in the range of £150,000 to £180,000 GBP per annum (paid in Cayman Islands Dollars), without tax, along with significant additional earnings based on performance
