Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (T&GICFT) serves a community of 250,000 people across Tameside and Glossop. We provide a range of services both within the hospital and across our community for both adults and children. We have an expanding Diabetes and Endocrinology team and, as such, we are looking to recruit to our Consultant Diabetes & Endocrinologist workforce. The diabetes service entails acute secondary care as well as community services, with dedicated clinics such as pump management, young person’s clinic, antenatal clinic and transition clinics. We have a dedicated Diabetes and Endocrinology ward in the Trust, which the successful candidate(s) will be allocated a cohort of patients to review each week. T&GICFT is one of the top Trusts in the country for diabetes research; therefore, candidates with an interest in research will be welcomed. We are keen to explore other specialist interests with the right candidate(s). We welcome requests for flexible working.
