About the Role

The clinical and communication skills team (CCSU) at Barts and the London faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University, London has a long and proud history of innovation and excellence in clinical and communication skills teaching, learning and assessment.

We are looking for two 0.6FTE clinical lecturers, with experience in delivering undergraduate clinical and communication skills teaching, to join our team. You should be passionate about teaching and have a proven track record in teaching and facilitating learning – including physical examination skills, practical skills and communication skills. You are highly organized, able to manage competing demands and deadlines, and work well both in a team and independently.

This post is open to anyone who meets the essential criteria, but it might be of particular interest to those who have done some teaching, and would like an entry-level academic post in a medical school.

  • We have a long and proud history of supporting students who find themselves in academic difficulty, and there will be plenty of opportunities to develop your experience in this area.
