Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a sub-speciality interest in paediatric orthopaedic surgery. The Consultant must be fellowship trained and comfortable dealing with all aspects of paediatric orthopaedics and trauma.
Main duties of the job We expect this person to help deliver and network the paediatric orthopaedic service within Lancashire. The successful applicant will complement the team of established consultants and a paediatric ANP. The post is subject to the Trust’s terms and conditions of service. The post will have sessions at both Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital and Burnley General Teaching Hospital
SPA (supporting professional activities) will include audit, job planning and clinical management. 1.5 SPAs have been documented in the job plan to support revalidation, trainee education/supervision and safe practice. 1 DCC has been allocated to admin time
