Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust would like to invite applications to a Consultant post in Orthogeriatric and Care of the Elderly within the Surgical Specialties Clinical Business Unit. The successful candidates will join a dynamic and enthusiastic surgical team providing high quality care to the population of Warrington and Halton. 

We are looking for candidates who are motivated and dedicated to providing high standards of patient care and see their own personal and professional development as a priority but who will be fit to manage the growing challenges of healthcare in the UK as we move forward.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a wide experience in general and geriatric medicine along with Orthogeriatric experience.  We are looking for the successful candidate to have the ability to work efficiently & accept a high degree of diagnostic uncertainty.  Make good clinical diagnosticians and someone who is keen on solving problems be a strong decision maker specifically to be able to assist in balancing the risk and benefits of early surgery for fractured neck of femur patients. 

The role does not include any on call commitments and will be based across the Warrington and Halton Hospitals.
