Glasgow Royal Infirmary

This post is available from the 3rd August 2022 until the 31st July 2023 based within the internationally renowned Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, in Scotland, where 20 consultants run 6 general anaesthetic theatres each day and provide national and regional services. Candidates should be in possession of the FRCS (Plast), or equivalent international specialty training accreditation, at the time of commencing in post.

They should have extensive experience in Burns, Hand, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (equivalent to U.K. ST6/7 or above). A process exists to match training provision to the experience and sub-specialty training requirements of the successful candidate(s). The successful candidate would be on the ST-grade (registrar) on call rota throughout the post.

This post is aimed at senior trainees from the U.K. or abroad, who seek higher-level training within reconstructive breast surgery.
