An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP at Wylcwm Street Surgery in Knighton on the South Shropshire border with Powys.

We are seeking a partner or salaried GP to join us in our well-established, friendly semi-rural practice with 5000 patients in the beautiful Teme Valley. We seek a motivated GP to support and develop our existing team of three practice nurses, two health care assistants, two counsellors and a physiotherapist. By continually innovating our practice, we have few home visits and a triage led system of appointments with the benefit of an excellent, experienced reception team. We are well supported locally with our community district nurse team, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Despite the recent challenges of the pandemic, we continue to provide strong chronic disease management collaboratively with practice nurses and specialist nurses. Community connectors help us locally with a variety of social solutions through a vibrant local voluntary sector. We benefit from our dedicated full-time pharmacy technician who assists with audits, medication reviews and general prescription requests.  The GP Partner position attracts the Premium Partnership payment which is paid quarterly.
