Healix International is a leading provider of international medical assistance services.  We have a large and varied client base which includes travel insurance companies, charities, multinational corporations, airlines and government departments.

We are looking for a doctor to join our existing team of medical officers based at our headquarters in Esher, Surrey. Working part-time, you would be responsible for managing cases of patients admitted to hospital all over the world. This involves communication with foreign doctors leading to the formulation of detailed medical advice. In addition you would also be involved with arranging hospital admissions for patients who require air evacuation as well as acting as a source of general medical advice for our clients. Senior medical supervision is available at all times.

When not on duty it is expected that you would be available to travel overseas in order to take part in international aeromedical patient transfers yourself. This aspect of the job is flexible and can be tailored around any other commitments you may have. A doctor with full availability can expect to earn in excess of £90,000 per year from a combination of office work and aeromedical transfers.

Working in international medical assistance is exciting and varied; this work will appeal particularly to those with a passion for foreign travel. Good interpersonal and communication skills are absolutely essential and you must have the confidence and experience to be able to cope with a wide range of medical situations.
