Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow in Nephrology. This is a fixed term appointment for a period of 12 months. The post is based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, is full time and the post holder will be expected to participate on the 1:7 middle grade rota covering the Nephrology Unit. This is an excellent opportunity within the Nephrology department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work under the supervision of the consultant nephrologists to provide day-to-day care of patients on the nephrology ward, in the Hemodialysis Unit and CAPD Unit, and attending renal clinics in the Lister Hospital. There will also be duties at the satellite units as rostered. The appointee will be encouraged to contribute to audit and research activities in the unit. The post-holder will participate in the renal on call rota and potentially some general medicine on call.
