Colorectal/Upper GI/General Sub-specialty Interests

Based at University Hospital Wishaw (UHW) or University Hospital Hairmyres (UHH), Lanarkshire

We are appointing five new Consultant General Surgeons in NHSL. We will consider candidates with an Upper GI interest, Colorectal interest, or more general interest to be based at UHW or UHH. These are replacement posts and are full time 10 PA posts although part time applicants will be considered. The NHSL team will be happy to discuss individual requirements with applicants. There will be a significant degree of flexibility and options in the job plan. You will work with the present staff to accommodate general surgical service needs. Individuals should have a flexible team-based work ethic and will participate in the emergency on call general surgical rota at either UHW or UHH which will be a 1:12 from August 2022.
