Advert for a Clinical Fellow in Congenital Cardiac Surgery at the Leeds General Infirmary campus of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK and is a Supra-Regional Centre for Congenital Cardiac Surgery.
The Trust has one vacancy for a Clinical Fellow in Congenital Cardiac Surgery. This post is fixed term for 12 months. The post does not, at present, carry educational approval from the Yorkshire Deanery. This post is ideal for anyone with prior cardiac surgical experience, wishing to consolidate or gain further experience in Paediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery. Post CCT holders are welcome to apply.
The post holder will usually spend two/three days per week in the congenital operating theatres, one half day in the Congenital out patients. They will provide surgical support to the PICU/ICU and the paediatric and congenital wards. There is a weekly MDT meeting.
This post holder will contribute to a non-resident 1:5 dedicated congenital cardiac surgery on call rota
