Job Title:  Resident Doctor – Oncology / Haematology Location:  The Christie Private Care – Manchester   Salary Range: £52,206 - £63,715, dependent upon skills and experience Shifts/Pattern or work: We currently have 3 different employment types, days shifts only – Monday-Friday or, 12-hour shifts with a combination of days/nights and weekends.

Summary of position

We have 3 exceptional career opportunities for Junior Doctors, with acute medicine, ideally oncology, haematology trained doctors, to become part of our resident team on a fixed or permanent basis.  This is a fantastic opportunity for ST1+ level trained doctors to work alongside elite Oncologists and Haematologists and specialist nursing teams to care for some of the country's complex types of Haematology and Surgical and Medical clinical oncology associated Care,

Your role as a Resident doctor is vital to the fantastic work achieved by our colleagues, and you will; attend to the day-to-day medical care of Oncology/Haematology patients, including clerking new planned and unplanned admissions, daily patient ward rounds, responding to medical emergencies and caring for end of life patients. You will also establish great relationships with a large pool of outpatients.

Support for further development

In this roles, you will learn from our leading experts in either day case chemotherapy clinics, outpatient clinics, haematology specialist units, and oncology specialist wards. In addition, you will be involved in planned care, pre-and post-operative care, and end-of-life care. And there are opportunities for development with regular study days available; and you will have direct access to the CPD accredited HCA Oncology and Haematology teaching programme. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has;

GMC registration and license to practice Completed Foundation Training FY1 and FY2 Rotations training experience in acute medicine, ideally Oncology and Haematology. ALS Trained
