The CAMHS Service Line has 4 part-time community posts vacant and Clinical Leadership Opportunities.  Applicants interested in full-time work can apply for any combination of these posts, responsible to  Associate Clinical Director, CAMHS

We are developing our Leadership team and there are Clinical Leadership opportunities available within the Service Line (with additional PAs attached), this provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued development of our high quality and well performing CAMHS Services.

Post 1 Job Title:           Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, CAMHS Service Line - 5 PAs (Sutton CAMHS)

Base:                           Sutton CAMHS,  Stanley Park Road, Wallington

 

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic psychiatrist to join our group of CAMHS psychiatrists, within our CAMHS Service Line. This is a substantive post.

The Consultant will work with the other two Consultant Psychiatrists to provide clinical leadership to an established multidisciplinary Sutton CAMHS service covering the London Borough of Sutton

This post has become available due to the previous post-holder retiring.

 

Post 2 Job Title:           Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry,  CAMHS Service Line - 6 PAs (Richmond CAMHS)

Responsible to:           Associate Clinical Director, CAMHS

Base:                           Richmond CAMHS,  Barnes Hospital

 

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic psychiatrist to join our group of CAMHS psychiatrists, within our CAMHS Service Line. This is a substantive post.

Working with two other  Consultant Psychiatrists to provide clinical leadership to an established multidisciplinary Richmond CAMHS service covering the London Borough of Richmond.  It includes 1 PA to offer consultation to the Tier 2 Neurodevelopmental service.

This post has become available due to additional sessions in the service.

 

Post 3 Job Title:           Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, CAMHS Service Line - 6 PAs (Neurodevelopmental Disorders Team)

Base:                           Neurodevelopmental Disorders Team,  Springfield Hospital,  London SW17 7DJ

 

We seek a committed and enthusiastic psychiatrist for this substantive post in our CAMHS Service Line. 

Working with the Senior Clinical psychologist to provide clinical leadership to an established multidisciplinary team who offer diagnostic assessment packages for young people identified as needing this across all 5 Boroughs covered by the Trust.  This team has succeeded in reducing wait times and innovates to update the assessment model.  Full reports and feedback are provided to enable a young person and family, to work with partner agencies to gain appropriate support. The post has become available with the previous post-holder leaving the service.

 

Post 4 Job Title:           Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, CAMHS Service Line -  9 PAs (Wandsworth Tier 3 CAMHS)

Base:                           Wandsworth CAMHS,  Springfield Hospital, London SW17 7DJ

 

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic psychiatrist to join our CAMHS Service Line. This is a substantive post.

The Consultant will work with  two other Consultant Psychiatrists to provide clinical leadership to an established multidisciplinary  service covering the London Borough of Wandsworth.  The post is available due to retirement of the post-holder.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Directorate of Southwest London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is a well-established provider of mental health services to the population of South West London.

We offer highly specialist Sutton & Richmond CAMHS services, combining expertise in CYP moderate to severe mental health services, we are embedding I-Thrive across our Boroughs.  

The Sutton and Richmond posts are an exciting opportunity to join busy, developing services to provide both treatment and individual, family and group interventions for children and young people, some of whom may have significant co-morbid mental health needs. There will also be opportunities for all 4 post holders to contribute to ongoing service development in line with NICE guidance. 

 

The posts are within a multidisciplinary team providing a community service and has close links with local authority, schools across the borough. The post holder will be joining a skilled, motivated, and innovative multidisciplinary team committed to continual learning and development and will be offered excellent CPD opportunities.
