Locum Consultant in Ophthalmology

Salary Scale - £87,534 - £116,313 per annum (pro rata)

NHS Forth Valley seeks to appoint a Locum Consultant in Ophthalmology for a period of twelve months. The successful applicant will join the area consultant ophthalmology team and will share responsibility for providing a comprehensive clinical service in Forth Valley (participation in the out of hours on call rota is not required).
Applicants will be expected to have broad ophthalmology training; applicants with sub specialty interests which complement the existing service would be welcome: specifically a special interest in uveitis or medical retina care would be an advantage. Applicants must possess the FRCOphth or equivalent.
