Job Details
This role will be supported by a £12,000 relocation allowance.
We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team in Norwich.
We are looking for someone who will play a key role in the multi-disciplinary team, supporting the management of people with complex needs, through the provision of clinical leadership and advice and support.
Main duties of the job
This is a well established post; the vacancy arose due to the current Consultant moving post within the Trust. It covers the city of Norwich as well as the surrounding area. The post holder will be looking after the working-age patient population.
The people in our care, families and carers are at the centre of all aspects of all we do.
About us
The focus of CRHT is on care at home for adults in mental health crisis. We aim at short-term brief interventions for assessment and treatment. CRHT provides a gatekeeping function for new admissions including the crisis house. We are providing community based MH crisis care in order to reduce the need for acute hospital beds.
The acute inpatient service is supported overall by six Consultant Psychiatrist posts and six Specialty Doctor posts. The service also has regular foundation year doctors, core trainees and senior trainees on placement. It also supports medical students. The whole inpatient service is also supported by a Lead Nurse.
