Long term locum with a view to Partnership

We are looking for a locum to start now and partnership changes will mean a permanent post becoming available from 1st December 2022.

Our 10 (7.3 WTE) GPs enjoy working with supportive, friendly staff and 10,500 patients in a close-knit community.  Llandrindod Wells is the happiest place to live in Wales and the 5th in Britain (Rightmove 2021).
Telephone triage, with face-to-face appointments by arrangement, allows us to provide an excellent, accessible service to the community. We run child health, contraceptive and minor surgery clinics and have good quality OOH cover.

We enjoy teaching medical and PA students and have recently been appointed a GP Registrar Training Practice. 

The town has a thriving Community Hospital where we have inpatient beds, and help run the Minor Injuries and satellite Dialysis Units. 

We are regularly complimented on our happy team - enjoying numerous trips to watch rugby and other social occasions together. 

We meet daily for coffee and have weekly partners’ and Virtual Ward meetings. Lively, interactive clinical meetings are held monthly with the nursing team.
