An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.
The post is with a clinical interest in facial deformity surgery and there is an option to combine this with head and neck skin cancer surgery. The post will be available to start from May 2022.
There is scope to tailor and develop clinical interests to suite the applying candidate.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) is the main provider of acute hospital services for around half a million people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales.

Both hospitals provide a wide range of acute hospital services including accident & emergency, outpatients, diagnostics, inpatient medical care and critical care.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post is time-tabled for 10 PA’s. Addition of skin cancer interest (MDT) would add 0.5 PA Allocation to this. There is a 1 in 5 general on call rota.
There would also be an opportunity for Teaching and/or Medical Leadership development. The Trust has teaching connections with Keele University School of Medicine.
