Consultant in General Haematology and Haemoglobinopathies-Sickle Cell

This is a substantive, full-time (10 programmed activities per week), consultant haematologist post to join the clinical Haematology team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT). The role will join our 2 Haemoglobinopathy consultant to support our Haemoglobinopathy (mainly sickle cell) service to maintain and improve cross site cover, outpatient review and work within our Haemoglobinopathy coordinating Centre to support our regional network.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in the service with the largest registered population of patients with sickle cell disease in a tertiary Haemoglobinopathy coordinating and specialist Centre. The Haematology department at GSTT is highly academic with a strong clinical service in one of the largest health care providers in London.
