The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Trust Research Doctor who will be based at the NIHR Patient Recruitment Centre Exeter on the Trusts Wonford site. This appointment provides an excellent opportunity for a doctor to gain experience of clinical research across a breadth of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials and studies including early to late phase trials, across a broad range of medical specialities within the supportive environment of a leading teaching and research hospital. The position provides the post holder with the opportunity to be involved in the testing of treatments and interventions that could shape the health care of tomorrow.

The post holder will work alongside experienced Principal Investigators (PI) within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the clinical operations of our units. The post holder will provide medical support for patients and healthy volunteers participating in the clinical trials and studies.

The post would suit doctors looking for opportunities to engage in clinical research and the post is for a 24-month period in the first instance. The post will be appointed at an ST3-ST6 dependent on experience and is available up to a full-time position with flexible working arrangements fully supported, there is no on-call commitment.
