The Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications from suitable candidates to apply for the post of Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. The appointment will be 10 PAs and includes being non-resident 1:12 on call for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The appointee should be trained in all aspects of general Obstetrics and Gynaecology. It is expected that the appointee will have special interest in the care and management of high-risk maternity patients, and management of labour ward. The appointee is also required to contribute to general Gynaecology services and participate in the on call rota on a 1:12 rolling rota.
This role is a new role within the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, the appointed candidate will join an existing team of 17 senior medical staff including Consultants & SAS doctors. On joining the department, you will become part of a well-established, friendly team and will help us continue to drive forward improvements in the service that we provide to our patients. As a senior member of the team, you will become a key part in the delivery of training and supervision to our junior colleagues. This post is for a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the skill to manage all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and who has special interest in high risk Obstetrics care.
