Consultant Radiologist with an interests considered in gastro-intestinal imaging , genitourinary imaging, head & neck imaging, musculo-skeletal imaging

Based Royal Gwent hospital, Newport, SE Wales 

Full Time (10 Sessions) 

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Applications are invited for a full time Consultant Radiologist with special interests considered in gastro-intestinal imaging, genitourinary imaging, head & neck imaging or musculo skeletal imaging.

A broad radiological experience, an ability to participate in MDT and provide an active role in supporting trainees is anticipated. Participation in the radiology on-call rota will be required. The radiology on-call service is provided in-house by first on-call SpRs with secondary support from Radiologists; the current frequency is approximately 1:18. Applicants must hold full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC.

Candidates for Consultant posts must also be on the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights) or will have a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview.
