St. Vincent’s Private Hospital is the single, biggest acute private hospital in Dublin. We offer the highest number of consultants and the widest range of specialist care in Ireland’s only integrated multi-hospital campus. We are the largest private provider of cancer care specialties (medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgery and brachytherapy) in the country. We have state of the art cardiology facilities, including a cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
Situated on the same grounds as St. Vincent’s University Hospital, we share resources, expertise and medical facilities with one of the country’s leading academic teaching hospital. This means that we have the capacity to deal with a high volume of patients with a variety of different and often complex medical and surgical requirements.
We currently have vacancies for the following position:
Senior House Officer / Clinical Fellow Full Time / Part Time
The above positions are suited to Senior House Officers or Registrars involved/Interested in pursuing higher studies
Requirements
- Applicants must have current General Registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Applicants must hold current BLS and ACLS or complete certification prior to their employment start date.
- MRCP/MRCPI/FRCSI or equivalent postgraduate qualification would be desirable.
- Candidates, ideally, should be engaged in research or have a research proposal in place.
The successful candidates will provide clinical care on a rota basis to inpatients at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital

Salary is on the Senior House Officer Salary Scale as per the HSE salary scales. Training grant of €3,000 per annum, pro rata.
