Consultant General Adult Psychiatrists in Community Health & Wellbeing

Following an expansion and reconfiguration of posts Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) invites applications for the roles of Consultant General Adult Psychiatrists with the Coventry Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team.

CWPT provides Mental Health, Learning Disability and Community services to people living in Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. Rated good by the CQC, the Trust is an organisation that is continuously improving and we welcome interest from individuals who want to make a difference.

The posts will join a team of psychiatrists working as key members and clinical leaders of the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. This team provides multidisciplinary care to patients with moderate and severe non-psychotic disorders from the Tile Hill Health Centre and Caludon Centre sites.

The post is based on a 10 PA job plan with 7.5 PAs in Direct Clinical Care and 2.5 PAs in Supporting Professional Activities. Participation in the Consultant Psychiatrist on-call rota is also expected at a frequency of around one in fifteen, with responsibility for both inpatient and community adult and older-adult patients.

Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.
