The Department of Anaesthesia at the Princess Royal University Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and committed anaesthetist to join our friendly and progressive team.

The successful candidate must have evidence of broad experience in all aspects of general anaesthesia. A special interest is encouraged and can be accommodated.

The Princess Royal University Hospital has 525 beds, with further beds and operating theatres at Orpington Hospital, and two operating theatres at Queen Mary Hospital, Sidcup. The hospitals serve the local population of the London Borough of Bromley and surrounding areas and are based in the leafy suburban towns of Orpington and Sidcup. This is a highly sought-after location due to its close proximity to many well-regarded primary, secondary and Grammar schools, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars. It is minutes away from Bromley town centre, which has extensive retail and leisure facilities, and regularly appears in the list of the annual top 50 places to live in the UK. The Kent countryside is in close proximity, offering peace and quiet and recreational activities. Many staff live in the local areas, enhancing the community spirit within the hospitals. For those who live further afield, the area is served by fast rail links to central London and a good local bus service, in addition to being 20 minutes' drive from the M25.
