Mill Stream Surgery is a well- regarded, GP practice in South Oxfordshire with just under 6,000 registered patients and an ‘outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.  We are proud to be the “Birth Place” of Red Whale GP Update.

We currently have a vacancy in our friendly and supportive team for 6 – 8 clinical sessions as a salaried GP on a competitive package.  We prioritize continuity of care, which is valued by our patients and enhances GP satisfaction. Our Patient Participation Group is active and supportive of the practice. 

As a well-established member of our Primary Care Network, we offer a range of patient services, including a Clinical Pharmacist and a Primary Care Wellbeing Worker.  We use EMIS Web, Docman, Mjog and AccuRx clinical systems.

In addition, we are delighted to offer training to Registrars on the Oxford Deanery GP VTS and teaching to medical students from Oxford University.  

Our surgery premises, in the village of Benson, is surrounded by lovely countryside close to the River Thames, with a good mix of excellent local schools, both state and private. There is excellent road access to the bigger towns of Oxford and Reading and less than 15 minutes’ drive to the local train station at Cholsey with services to London.
