GP 4-8 Sessions

Ideally, we would be looking for 4-8 sessions, but we can be flexible regarding the number of sessions and days for the right person. 

The basics: 

• £10,800+ per session depending role chosen 
• Indemnity paid by the practice under MDDUS group scheme or subscription equivalent 
• 6 weeks annual leave 
• 1-week study leave

We run a hybrid appointment system involving an acute on the day triage team and a planned pre booked team every day. A typical planned day includes a mixture of calls and face-to-face appointments and admin time (with importantly NO squeezed in extras). We use EMIS web in conjunction with the rest of the Torbay. 

We are a training practice for GPSTs, Foundation doctors, medical students, nursing students and pharmacists. We have excellent support from a diverse multi-disciplinary team including ANPs, Mental Health Practitioners, Pharmacists, Paramedic, Physio, Dietician, Social Prescribers and Carer Support workers.

Our surgery provides a great team-working environment with a large triage hub and the whole team meets for coffee every morning.

We offer mentorship to new members of the team as well as fun team building practice funded socials! Being part of Baywide PCN, we are fully integrated into our local health community which gives many opportunities for portfolio working including working within Intermediate Care and Torbay Care Home Visiting Team as well as positions in the CCG, LMC and local medical schools.
