About us

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute NHS Trust which is responsible for a comprehensive range of healthcare services to a local population of 750,000 patients. The cardiology service runs a countywide Primary PCI programme from the Lincolnshire Heart Centre, a Level 1 Heart Attack Centre. Invasive cardiac services are provided via 2 dedicated cardiac catheterisation laboratories with 2 dedicated recovery wards. The cardiology department offers a full range of cardiac investigations and services with all standard non-invasive cardiac investigations (ECG, ETT, Echo (including stress, contrast and trans-oesophageal echocardiography), and Myocardial Perfusion Scanning) which are undertaken at all 3 main hospital sites.
