The Consultant will provide clinical expertise and clinical leadership to these teams, taking a lead role (in ED CAMHS the consultant paediatrician would have a lead role in assessing & reviewing a young persons physical health with the consultant being responsible for this on a day to day basis) in physical health assessment, risk assessment, management of comorbid mental disorder and clinical decision making.
