Morriston Hospital is undergoing exciting changes to transform into a centre of excellence for urgent and emergency care, specialist care and regional surgical services including complex medical interventions. State of the art facilities are being developed and will focus on ambulatory emergency care as well as expanded frailty services.

Applications are invited for a Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine with sub specialty interest of applicant's choice. The post will be offered on an initial 6-month basis.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Physician with a commitment to service innovation, development and improvement in Acute Medicine.

The post holders will contribute to the existing service which is being expanded. The role will include covering a General Medicine ward, reviewing outlier patients and providing Acute Medicine sessions to support the site.

The post-holders will also have responsibility for general internal medicine on-calls along with the ensuing post on-call ward round.
