Job Details
The Early Intervention in Psychosis team in Norfolk is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead its western front.
Initially on a half-time basis for EIP, options, if desired, to render the term full-time in various general or sub-specialty teams are open to discussion in the Kings Lynn area in the west, Norwich itself in the centre of the county or on the east coast.
EIP Norfolk is one service with three distinct teams working together. The west is small and tight knit and there are opportunities to contribute to shaping the larger service as well as the west itself.
Patient experience at the heart of all good services and health is not simply no different but should lead in this respect. We both take outcome measures seriously as metrics to illuminate the effect of some of our work as well as regard ethos and culture as more important than numbers alone.
Colleagues committed to excellence and opportunities to craft a post to ones vision. Academic and managerial options abound.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Leadership;
Appropriate Consultant level expertise in diagnosis, assessment, management and rehabilitation of psychosis;
A love of teaching;
MDT familiarity and an ethos respectful of team working;
