Locum Consultant in Paediatrics with interest in secondary epilepsy

This is an 7 PA locum appointment for a Consultant Paediatrician with interest in secondary epilepsy. This post is available immediately, for 6 months in the first instance, with a possibility to extend further.
This post will deliver 7 PAs supporting the General Paediatric team and also the existing consultants providing the secondary epilepsy service (Dr Jeavons and Dr Fonfe).
The post will be based at the Leeds Children's Hospital at the Leeds General Infirmary.
The successful applicant should hold accreditation in Paediatrics in the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health or equivalent, and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.
Applicants should have established skills in General Paediatrics and Paediatric epilepsy. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential.
