Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow, Emergency Medicine
We are delighted to offer this post at Morriston Hospital Emergency Department, with the opportunity to have dedicated teaching time and education time plus support to complete a PG Cert. in Medical Education.
These posts are aimed at strengthening the links between Emergency Medicine and teaching. It is intended that these posts in Swansea Bay University Health Board will provide an excellent learning opportunity and the ability to enhance individuals CV's. Thus we seek to attract high caliber candidates.
Completion of the post is expected to deliver competitiveness for progression in both Emergency Medicine and potential involvement in formal medical education at both post graduate and undergraduate levels.
The post would also be suitable for those wishing to take time out of programme (OOPE), although this must be discussed in detail with relevant current training programme directors.
The post offers weekly dedicated teaching time along with a mix of clinical shifts in the Emergency Department and SPA time as detailed in the attached rota. The total weekly hours worked will average 40.5
