These are exciting new posts created to offer successful applicants additional experience in an allied specialty whilst working at registrar level within a large and vibrant Emergency Unit with ‘Major Trauma Centre’ status. The positions would be ideally suited to candidates wanting to enhance their CV prior to entering higher specialty emergency medicine training, or during an ‘out of program experience’ year.

The posts are available from 3rd August 2022 for 12 months.

Successful candidates will work primarily within the Emergency Unit but would have opportunity to do further work in critical care, paediatric emergency medicine, acute medicine or trauma. The role would entail a 70:30 split between time within emergency medicine and another specialty with ample opportunity to be involved in audit, quality improvement and other projects.
