Park Medical Partnership is a well-established practice based in the thriving market town of Shepton Mallet set in undulating hills between Wells and Frome. Just a short distance from Bath and Bristol, a lifestyle balance between bustling city life and the peace and quiet of the countryside is easy to achieve.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is forward thinking and a strong team player, who shares our ethos and approach of putting patients first, to join our well established, hardworking, and dedicated team.

You will join a team of 7 GPs, we are a training practice with a culture of learning and development, we currently have three ST3 registrars working with us.

Our extensive workforce currently comprises 4 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 4 ANPs and 3 practice nurses for a list size of 11,300 patients. We have a branch surgery within 3 miles and cater for a diverse mix of patients which being co-located in the town and village affords.

We encourage our clinical team to contribute and share innovation through regular meetings. We hold regular MDT meetings and as a member of the Mendip Primary Care Network, we participate in developing new and collaborative ways of working. We have co-employed a clinical pharmacist and first contact physiotherapist using the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).

With one of our GPs reaching retirement in the next year or two, there could be a rare opportunity to become a partner. A £20,000 golden handshake is available to new partners, subject to eligibility. This is a perfect opportunity for a likeminded GP to join a well-established, highly reputable practice.
