The King's Department of Neuroradiology forms part of the regional Neuroscience service provision, serving a population of 4 million. The regional Neurosciences unit at King's is one of the largest and busiest in the country. This full time (10 PA) Locum Diagnostic Neuroradiology post offers an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to experience working alongside our close-knit and motivated team of 17 Neuroradiology Consultants, and to provide a high quality service to our local and regional population.

The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in neurosciences, liver disease and transplantation, cardiac, haemato-oncology and foetal medicine. King's is also both a Major Trauma and Hyper-acute Stroke Centre in London.

King's is a key partner in one of London's foremost Academic Health Science Centres, King's Health Partners (KHP). It brings together a world-leading research-led university - King's College London - and three successful NHS Foundation Trusts: King's College Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas', and South London and Maudsley.

The post will have an on-call commitment and the post holder will be expected to contribute to the performance and governance agenda of the division. The post holder will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate training.

You must be fully registered with the GMC, hold a Licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent to be eligible for interview.

The post holder will have contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years), therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
