Salaried GP

The Spitalfields Practice is located in a vibrant, diverse and rapidly changing part of Tower Hamlets in East London. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic General Practitioner to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team.  

Particulars of the job

• Permanent position
• Start date January 2022
• £9,500 per session per annum 
• 6 consulting sessions per week, ideally worked on Monday, Thursday & Friday 
• CPD session 
• Dedicated admin time
• 6 weeks’ holiday and 2 additional days per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays 
• 1 week’s study leave per annum (pro rata)
• Defence union fees paid 
• Non-NHS work paid to GP (not retained by the practice)
• Registered GP system with own list of patients
• On-call duties and home visits shared equally between all GPs 
• Clinical team daily 20-minute morning coffee break huddle
• Dedicated clinical administrator responsible for reducing GP workflow  
• Access to on-site social prescribers, pharmacists and physiotherapist
• Currently a teaching practice (medical students) and due to start FY and Registrar training
• Supportive of specialist skills development
