This is a great opportunity to join our CAMHS team to this  newly created post in Child and Adolescent Liaison Psychiatry.

We are looking to recruit a full-time (10 PA) Consultant who is proactive, positive and enthusiastic, who will bring energy and fresh thinking to the way we work towards our vision of being Better Every Day through excellence, compassion and expertise. 

The post holder will work alongside 3 consultants in adult liaison psychiatry, one based at each of the three hospital sites. The post holder will work within an expanding and developing Liaison Psychiatry Service which aims to provide a comprehensive service to people attending all three acute hospital sites in the county.

The Liaison Psychiatry services at Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals have been accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Psychiatric Liaison Accreditation Network (PLAN).

The post holder will be expected to maintain Section 12 (2) and be an Approved Clinician.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service or are able to present a valid portable DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
