Associate Director - Clinical Outcomes & Population Health based within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group to work across the CCG and wider health system.
This is a permanent role, 30 hours a week, salary range £62,553 to £72,309 per annum.
(AfC terms if non medic and Consultant contract if medically qualified).
The post holder will provide strategic advice on population health and clinical outcome improvement to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough System and CCG. The purpose is to provide strategic public health specialist leadership, knowledge base and technical support to ensure the CCG and wider system is driven by improving outcomes for patients, effective use of evidence, and adoption of best practice, innovation and evaluation. Working closely with clinical and managerial commissioning colleagues in the CCG and partner organisations, the role will ensure that strategic plans, and implementation of the commissioning improvement and assessment framework for the CCG, are supported by the best available evidence, that priorities based on local need for improving health outcomes and tackling health inequalities are clearly identified, and that cost effective programmes of work are in place to deliver improvements, with effective evaluation.
