Physician Associate - Cardiology

1.0 WTE (5 days per week)

Band 7

The successful post holder will work alongside the medical and nursing teams in Cardiology managing patients with a range of medical issues.

You will build on your skills in clerking, assessing and examining patients gained through their physician associate training, present to more senior members of the team, initiate and interpret investigations, and recommend appropriate managements and treatments. There will be a focus on acquiring skills and knowledge in the specialty field of Cardiology.

The post-holder will be expected to contribute to and be involved in the successful implementation of service re-design.

There is currently no specific on call commitment attached to this post.
